MY AMBITION IN LIFE
Everyone is the world has his ambition in life. Some persons dream of becoming leaders. There are others who want to become businessmen, poets, writers or novelists. Students have also their ambitions in life. Some of them want to become police officers, doctors, engineers; others to be lawyers, professors or army officers. A person who does not have any aim in life is like a ship not knowing its destination.
As far as I am concerned, I want to become a teacher. Teaching is a noble profession. I am fully aware of the fact that a teacher is lotted be poor. He does not enjoy those facilities that others of his scale enjoy. There are no surprising events in life. Bribery, which become commonplace, does not exist in profession. A teacher really deserves to be honoured. He does something which others cannot do. Teaching is a prophetic profession. Our Holy prophet (peace be upon him) was a teacher. He spread the light of Islam in the world through his teachings.
A teacher is truly called the architect of a nation. He can mold the character of his students and inculcate in them high qualities of service, sacrifice and patriotism. He is like a ladder who is fixed at one place, but helps others to rise high. I like to be a doctor maker, an engineer maker, rather to be a doctor or engineer myself. As a teacher I like to serve my nation by producing brilliant students. He is the storehouse of knowledge, and information which he conveys to his students from time to time.
I want to become a teacher because from my childhood I have deep love in my heart for the young children. To we, they are delicate and beautiful as flower petals. Their company would help me in remaining young and fresh in thoughts and outlook. Besides this, I would help my students in widening their outlook. I would try to make them the good citizens of the society.
